In 2004, Roy Abshire purchased a vacation cabin in Lake Isabella, CA for his family vacations and rental opportunity. To begin, he advertised on several website listings to manage his rental, but it was time consuming working his day job and also taking phone calls, updating multiple website calendars, and managing reservations and payments. He could not find one website that did everything, so he decided to build his own to automate everything possible at www.royscabin.com!

Eventually, other Owner's found www.royscabin.com and were so impressed with his website design and success, he started building more sites and continued receiving more orders. Now Roy was managing multiple websites again so he decided to re-design and merge them to save time. He created themes, shared contacts, referral links, and forums to help Owner's discuss more ways to improve the site.

Now and still one of the most valuable features Roy added to the site is referral links that show up on everyone's calendar when days are booked. His concept of helping each other and not competing was instilled in the owners when referrals started coming from all of the Co-op website visitors.

Thanks to Roy's hard work and determination to help the do-it-yourself vacation home owner and create a non-competitve website so owners can share resources and link to each other, the Co-op continues to grow and get vacation rentals up and running fast so Owner's can save more time and make more money quicker!
